WOW x WOW Gallery proudly presents Silent Soliloquies. Opening on wowxwow.com at 7pm BST on 9th August and running until 30th August, the exhibition will feature over 60 incredible original artworks by more than 50 super talented international artists.
The working life of a visual artist can often be a solitary one, where inner monologues take on significant importance, and for many, become an integral part of the creative process. Scientific research on the inner voice is still in its early stages and there continues to be disagreement between scientists regarding the phenomena. Some believe that there are three unique types of thinkers: verbal thinkers, visual thinkers, and pattern thinkers (the latter make connections between actions and emotions). Others believe that due to the inner voice being part of our subconscious, this makes it very difficult for us to define our internal process, and that most likely we each rely on all three. In advance of the scienctific community reaching agreement on the matter, this month’s exhibition brings you a wonderful celebration of the magical potency of those ‘Silent Soliloquies’.
